Hey everybody, David Ursino here talking to you about Vaughan real estate as always.  Today I’m going to give you the top 5 elementary schools in Vaughan.   The reason I’m doing this, is because at the end of March, the Fraser Institute put out their Ontario Elementary School Ranking.  It looks at all the schools in Ontario and answers the one question of “How does a school rank academically compared to other schools across Ontario?”  It’s a ranking of over 2700 schools and it’s a really useful tool.  By the way, you can go and check this out at http://CompareSchoolRankings.org It’s a fantastic tool and I encourage you to go and look at it.  It looks at EQAO Results and other factors to come to this ranking.  So the top 5 elementary schools in Vaughan are:  Number  1 is Bishop Scalabrini Catholic School in Thornhill in the Clarke and Bathurst area, the number 2 school is St Francis of Assisi Catholic Elementary School that’s in Woodbridge in the Langstaff and Ansley Grove area.  Number 3 is St Padre Pio again in Woodbridge in the Napa Valley and Forest Fountain area in Sonoma Heights.  Number 4 is the Elder Mills Public School which is at Napa Valley and Sonoma in Sonoma Heights as well.  Number 5 is Discovery Public School at Tierra and Jane.  These are 5 great schools in Vaughan but they are not the only schools in Vaughan.  If you’re thinking of moving to Vaughan and you’re looking for a good school, the best way to go about it is to get some of these rankings that helps, but then you still want to go into the schools, speak to some of the administrators, teachers if you can.  Perhaps speak with some of the parents of the children that go there to really get a good idea of how the school is.  That’s probably the best advice.  Once you figure out which school you want your kids to go to, we can find a home around that area, in the school’s catchment area to make sure that your child can get enrolled in that school.  So that’s if for me, if you have any more questions about this by all means check out that website I mentioned before that is http://CompareSchoolRankings.org or you can just get in touch with me …I’m at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
